To know: basic theories of economic competition in the context of the EU single market; forms and types of formation of economic and monetary unions, the process of formation of the EEC and EMU; criteria and indicators of regional integration in the context of EU formation; basic preconditions and agreements for the introduction of a free trade area between Ukraine and the EU; the provisions of the Association Agreement, the creation of deep and comprehensive free trade areas and progress in visa policy and mobility;

The discipline "Economic Integration of Ukraine with the EU" is based on and closely related to the cycle of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, including "Introduction to the specialty", "International Economic Relations", "Fundamentals of International Microeconomics", "Fundamentals of International Macroeconomics", " Ukraine in International Integration Processes ”,“ Ukraine in International Integration Processes ”,“ Economy of EU Member States ”,“ European Business Environment ”, etc. The student must have a general knowledge of the patterns of behavior of economic entities within the common economic space of the EU; to reveal and understand the content of the mechanism of state regulation of the economy through the means of fiscal, monetary, foreign economic and social policy in the EU; use and understand the methods of calculating key macroeconomic indicators in the EU.
