Attestation of higher education seekers is carried out in the form of public defense of master's thesis and complex exam in "Telecommunications and Radio Engineering" and ends with the issuance of a standard document on awarding them a degree with higher education: Master Telecommunications and Radio Engineering.

1. Know the theories and models promising for research and innovative activities in the field of radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications, including information protection. 2. Know the methodology of scientific research. 3. Know analog and digital circuitry, methods and means of their modeling and construction, use for research, including for the needs of telecommunications and information protection. 4. Know analog and digital, including adaptive, information processing methods for the needs of telecommunications and information protection. 5. Know the architecture of telecommunication systems, their hardware and software components, trends in their development. 6. Know modern telecommunication and network technologies, trends in their development. 7. Know the theoretical foundations and principles of implementation of means and methods of information protection. 8. Know the ethical and socio-economic foundations of modern society. 9. Find and analyze the scientific and engineering-technical information necessary for work. 10. Choose and use research and design methods and tools for the needs of telecommunications and information protection. 11. Choose components for the implementation of research projects, taking into account efficiency, manufacturability, information security requirements. 12. To ensure research planning and operation of laboratory equipment necessary for its implementation. 13. To ensure metrological correctness of measurements and processing of their results. 14. To fulfill prescriptions of standards and unification requirements, including to ensure information protection. 15. Apply knowledge to solve specific engineering and technical problems of telecommunications and information protection. 16. Present research results in the form of articles and reports at conferences. 17. Publicly defend research results. 18. Accept responsibility for decisions within the framework of independent and joint work. 19. Objectively evaluate the obtained results and their interpretation, ensure their reliability and validity. 20. To solve complex research and engineering-technical problems in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering, taking into account the requirements of information protection, which require fundamental knowledge in the field of physics, mathematics, computer technologies, modeling.
