Learning outcomes
The student should know the essence of physical phenomena and effects that occur in typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics, physical properties of typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics; physical foundations of the construction and operation of nanostructured elements of radioelectronic devices, methods of using typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics, the latest materials and devices based on them, as well as nanostructured elements of radioelectronic devices. The student must be able to classify typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics and the latest materials, as well as nanostructural elements of radio-electronic devices, explain the principles of their operation and possibilities of application, use typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics and the latest materials, classify devices built on the basis of typical structures of micro- and nanoelectronics and the latest materials, explain their purpose and principles of operation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline uses the results of studying the mandatory disciplines "General Physics", "Component Base of Radio-Electronic Devices", "Theory of Information Transmission", "Mathematical modeling of systems and processes". Prerequisites: 1. Know physical phenomena and understand physical effects that occur in solids. 2. To know the physical principles of operation of semiconductor devices. 3. Have basic knowledge of coding and information transmission. 4. To have the skills of mathematical and computer modeling of systems and processes in radio engineering. 5. To understand the physical effects that take place in typical nanostructures, the ways of transition from micro to nanoelectronic devices. 6. Be able to provide a description of nanotechnological processes, as well as the physical foundations of construction and operation nanoelectronic devices.
Course content
The discipline program examines the physical aspects of micro- and nanoelectronics, the ways of transition from micro- to nanoelectronic devices; nanomaterials and nanotechnologies underlying the construction and operation of nanoelectronic devices and devices; application of elements and devices of nanoelectronics and the latest materials in the development, manufacture, implementation and operation of transmission hardware, processing and protection of information.
