Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline uses the results of studying the mandatory disciplines "Higher Mathematics", "Modeling of Systems and Processes", "Fundamentals of Circuit Theory" and "Fundamentals of Computer Design and Modeling of Radio-Electronic Devices". Prerequisites: 1. Know the mathematical methods of analyzing the functions of a vector variable for the presence of an extremum. 2. To have basic knowledge regarding the development of algorithms based on mathematical models. 3. To have the skills of mathematical and computer modeling of systems and processes in radio engineering. 4. To understand the mathematical methods of system analysis of the functionality of radio-electronic means. 5. To be able to provide a formalized structural description of the properties and limitations of radio-electronic means.
Course content
The main canonical methods of posing and finding a solution to a problem are considered in the academic discipline optimization. The principles of building algorithms, which embody the automation of the processes of finding a solution, are explained optimization tasks. Standard approaches to setting and solving the optimization problem during development are considered, implementation and operation of hardware means of transmission, processing and protection of information.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture classes, practical classes, laboratory work, colloquium.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: during the semester, one written modular test is provided works based on lecture materials. Another form of control is an oral presentation at a seminar class or essay based on self-study materials. Final assessment is in the form of an exam. the form of the exam is written and oral. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the exam. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is obtaining at least 60 points. the grade for the exam cannot be less than 24 points.
