PRN1. Communicate freely on professional matters with specialists and non-specialists in the official and Czech, second Slavic (Serbian/Croatian/Slovenian) and English languages ​​orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PRN2. Effectively work with Slavic information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from specialized literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, arrange, classify and systematize it. PRN3. To organize the process of one's education and self-education in the field of Slavic studies. PRN4. Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of human existence, nature, and society. PRN5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PRN6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity in the field of Slavic studies and translation studies. PRN7. To understand the main problems of philology, Slavic philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PRN8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Czech and second Slavic (Serbian/Croatian/Slovenian) language and literature, to be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PRN9. Characterize the dialectal and social varieties of the Czech and English languages, describe the sociolinguistic situation. PRN10. Know the norms of the Czech and second Slavic (Serbian/Croatian/Slovenian) literary languages, vernacular Czech, and English and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRN11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Czech, second Slavic and English languages, the peculiarities of their translation.

Forms of evaluation: current control (tests, oral survey, individual and group projects, presentations, essays), final control (credits, differentiated credits, exams (written, oral, mixed form), defense of coursework, practical reports, attestation ( final) exam, defense of bachelor thesis. The rating scale is 100 points. 90-100 corresponds to "excellent" according to the national system, 75-89 – good, 60-74 – satisfactory, 1-59 – unsatisfactory. The main principles of the evaluation policy are regulated by the "Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process at KNUTSH". Academic integrity. In order to maintain academic integrity, the participants of the educational process are guided by the norms of the "Ethical Code of the University Community". Students undergo professional industrial practice (8 credits). Professional and industrial practice takes place on the basis of the Center for Slavic Studies, the Czech Center in Ukraine, the Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences named after O. Potebni, which provides an opportunity to cooperate with potential employers. Practice leaders are specialists in the humanitarian field (researchers, translators, literary critics), who share their professional experience with students, involve them in joint projects: international conferences, preparation of translation editions.

A bachelor of philology can work in scientific, literary publishing, and cultural and educational fields: in humanitarian sector institutes, administrative institutions, museums, libraries, archives, creative associations, art and cultural foundations and centers; in teaching positions; in printed and electronic media, PR technologies; in various branches of the national economy, companies, small enterprises, where services for creation, analysis, translation, localization and evaluation of texts are needed.
