Learning outcomes
PRN7. To understand the main problems of philology, Slavic philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches.
PRN15. Carry out linguistic, literary and Slavic philological analysis of texts of various styles and genres.
PRN16. To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of Czech linguistics and literature, to be able to apply them in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know the relationship between literature and human values, and have basic factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature.
Be able to plan and evaluate one's own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
Have basic skills of working with teaching and methodical manuals; searching for information in scientific sources recommended for processing; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
Systematization and understanding by students of knowledge in literary studies, mastering the skills of analyzing a literary work, free use of professional terminology, basic literary categories and concepts, focusing attention on the semantic load of the work. Therefore, the enrichment of students' ideas about the functions and specifics of the art of speech in the broad context of the development of literary and aesthetic thought from ancient times to modern times.

Teaching methods: lectures and practical classes, independent work
Forms of education: oral response, performance of written tasks, report with presentation, written modular work, individual work, consultations, final control work
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student of higher education during the semester and the points received on the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam).
