            1)	Know the theoretical foundations of the content of the concepts "violence", "domestic violence", "child abuse" and their distinction.
2)	Be able to detect, identify and interpret signs of possible forms and their manifestations of violence against children.
3)	Possess the legal and organizational and methodological principles of social and pedagogical work on the prevention of violence.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' theoretical knowledge on identification and interpretation of signs of possible types of violence against children; preparing students for planning and carrying out socio-pedagogical work on the prevention of violence.
The discipline is aimed at forming a holistic view and understanding of theoretical and methodological approaches to the organization, implementation of socio-pedagogical work on the prevention and counteraction of violence.

            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Assessment methods: recitations (speeches at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additional remarks), analysis of primary sources, presentations, practical tasks, modular control work, final control work.
Form of final control – exam.
The exam is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester. Students who scored from 36 to 60 points based on the results of their work during the semester are admitted to the exam. For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points - in order to be admitted to the exam, it is mandatory to complete modular control tasks, practical tasks and tasks for independent work. The maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester ones is 24 points.

- satisfactory (60-74 points)
