Learning outcomes
P2. Deeply understand the basic facts, concepts, principles of theory related to the subject area mastered during the master's program, use them to solve complex tasks and problems, as well as conduct research in the relevant field of chemistry.
Р6. Know the methodology and organization of scientific research.
P8. Be able to clearly and unambiguously convey the results of one's own research to a professional audience and/or non-specialists.
P9. Collect, evaluate, and analyze the data needed to solve complex chemistry problems using appropriate data processing methods and tools.
P10. Plan, organize and carry out experimental research in chemistry using modern equipment, competently process their results and draw reasonable conclusions.
P14. Interpret experimentally obtained data and correlate them with relevant theories in chemistry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To have knowledge of compulsory academic disciplines and disciplines of the student's free choice by blocks at the bachelor's level in the specialty "Chemistry".
2. Possess the skills of basic laboratory equipment and physico-chemical methods in the chosen specialization at the bachelor's level in the specialty "Chemistry".
3. Have basic skills of working with specialized software, specialized databases at the bachelor's level in the specialty "Chemistry".
Course content
Basic practical skills and abilities to organize, plan and conduct a chemical experiment on a chosen topic, search for sources of professional scientific information, their primary processing, systematization and analysis, interpretation, evaluation and presentation of the results of one's scientific research. Attention is paid to the skills and abilities to plan an experiment, choose optimal research methods and carry out scientific research, report on their results, and adhere to academic integrity.

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of the planned results of research practice is determined by the results of practical tasks during the defense-presentation of the practice report. A condition for a positive final assessment (credit) in practice is that the student receives at least 60 points.
