Learning outcomes
PLO 5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views. PLO 10. Understand the main philology problems an approach to solving them using appropriate methods and innovate approaches. PLO 14. Use the Ukrainian language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral) for solving communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PLO 25. Organize the process of teaching Ukrainian language for foreigners, considering the appropriate teaching methodology basics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the features of grammar, syntax, lexical composition and history of the Ukrainian language. 2. Be able to comment on and analyze educational material, present new material in the context of previously acquired knowledge and information and illustrate it with examples. 3. Have developed skills of scientific presentation of material in Ukrainian, know the technique of conducting dialogue with the audience.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to develop the professional competence of a future teacher by improving professional skills in planning and organizing the pedagogical process through direct participation in the activities of a general education institution, as well as developing readiness for independent work, to perform the functions of a teacher through adaptation to the real conditions of the educational institution. Pedagogical practice takes place at a distance from theoretical training in the 8th semester of the bachelor’s program and is designed for 270 hours. (9 credits). Students must attend a minimum of 6 lessons at school and 3 practical lessons in their higher education institution and analyze them; familiarize themselves with regulatory educational documents, methodological tools, forms and methods of teaching; draw up a detailed lesson plan and conduct it; take part in an extracurricular activity.

Forms of training: independent work. Teaching methods: educational process observation, independent work with scientific and methodological literature, curricula, textbooks, lesson plan independent development, conducting a lesson, discussion when reporting on practice.
