Learning outcomes
PLO 2. To have deep knowledge of the official (Ukrainian) and foreign languages for the written and oral communication purposes, professional and scientific communication in particular; to present research results in the official (Ukrainian) and foreign languages. PLO 6. To apply knowledge of expressive, emotional and logical linguistic means, and speech techniques in order to achieve planned pragmatic results and establish successful communication. PLO 10. To collect and systematise linguistic, literary and folklore facts, to interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the specialisation elected). PLO 14. To create, analyse and edit texts of different styles and genres.

Succeful mastering of the disciplines "The Persian language: advanced level", "The Persian language: functional level".
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to develop lingual, speaking, social-cultural competences of magister students with the view to increase their communication skills in Persian applied in different situations connected with their professional duties, and to ensure good mastery of speaking culture (precision, accuracy, logic, meaningful, appropriacy , expressivity and purity). The discipline is multi-semester and has a purely practical orientation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides only practical classes aimed at improving students’ mastery of four types of speech activity in the process of active work in the classroom. Control of the students’ mastery of the material takes place through their oral questioning and the organization of written tasks, tests, lexical dictations, modular control works. Homework is mandatory.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semestral assessment is based on the oral testing, written tasks, lexical dictations - 36/60 points, modular test papers - 12/20 points, final test paper - 12/20 points. The credit is given based on the results of the student’s work throughout the entire semester and does not require additional assessment measures. Students who scored 60 points, the required minimum, receive “passed”. Students who failed to score 60 points, the required minimum, receive “failed”. Those students who scored totally less than 60 points during the semester period should complete a test paper in the items which he/she failed to pass. Final score 60-100 – passed; 0-59 - failed.
