            To successfully complete the course, students must first master the disciplines: "Practical Course of Oriental Language (Chinese)", "Basics of Linguistics", "Basics of Translation Theory", "Basics of Translation Practice", "Business Communication and Speech Etiquette of Oriental Language (Chinese)", etc. . Students should also know the theoretical foundations of general linguistics and translation studies; have the skills to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills of Chinese language communication.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is to consider the fundamental issues of communication theory and to analyze in detail the peculiarities of the actualization of communication strategies in business, political, academic discourses and in the context of everyday communication. Abstract. Within the scope of the discipline "Chinese Language Communicative Strategies ", 2 content modules are provided. Module 1 has a general theoretical focus on the study of basic concepts and phenomena of communication theory; separate aspects of discourse science are considered in order to highlight the characteristic features of business, political, academic and everyday discourses. Module 2 is aimed at the issue of application / actualization of communicative strategies depending on the features of the discourse within which Chinese-language communication takes place. The discipline ends with a test.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            The course provides for the following forms of training organization: practical classes and unsupervised work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: classwork, analytical report/presentation (research/creative work), modular control work with open and test tasks. A student can score a maximum of 100 points and a minimum of 60 points for performing the prescribed types of work. In detail, the criteria for evaluating the types of works during the semester are presented in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The overall assessment consists of points received for the work during the semester (maximum – 100 points, minimum – 60 points) and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored less than 60 points in total for the semester must prepare material on the topics for which the debt arose, in the form of writing unsupervised works, essays, or, if necessary, write a control paper based on the results of the study: LR 1.1-1.3, 2.1 -2.4, 3.1-3.3. Teaching and assessment is conducted in Ukrainian and Chinese. The evaluation criteria are presented in detail in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
