Learning outcomes
PLO 12. Analyse language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes. PLO 14. Use English and German / French / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese in oral and written form, in different genre and style varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), for solving communicative tasks in everyday, public, educational, professional and academic spheres of life. PLO 15. Perform linguistic, literary and translation analysis of texts of different styles and genres. PLO 17. Collect, analyse, systematize and interpret language and speech facts and use them to solve complex problems and tasks in specialized fields of professional activity and / or training.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of courses: psycholinguistics, ethnolinguistics, sociolinguistics, communicative linguistics. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of introduction to linguistics and practical rhetoric. 3. Possession of elements of the methodology of linguistic text analysis, skills of systematization of linguistic facts and units. 4. Ability to research individual components of a communicative situation and systematize textual typologies.
Course content
The course "Linguistic Expertise of Ukrainian Business Texts" is designed for in-depth study of the specifics of the linguistic design of business texts, including official documents, advertising materials and other texts that function in the business environment. Students will master in detail the methods of linguistic expertise that allow them to evaluate the quality, effectiveness of language design and adaptability of marketing texts for different audiences. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the theoretical aspects of business communication and study various aspects of language culture that are important for the effective use of language in professional activities.

Learning activities during the semester: oral answers, presentations, learning project.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student during the semester and the points obtained at the exam: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam). Students with a total score lower than the critical calculation minimum of 36 points are not allowed to take the exam. The total maximum number of points per semester is 60. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a comprehensive exam: the maximum number of points on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points (positive grade) that are added to the semester points is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam); the exam assesses the following learning outcomes: RN1.1, RN1.2, RN1.3; PLO 2.2; PLO 2.3, PLO 2.4; PLO 3.1. PLO 4.2; the exam is conducted in the form of written work, the exam paper consists of four tasks: 2 open-ended theoretical questions, each of which is worth 5 points; 2 practical tasks, each of which is worth a maximum of 15 points.
