Learning outcomes
Acquaintance of students with conceptual, information-analytical bases of the commented journalism;
know the basic concepts of laws and rules for creating journalistic materials of various genres;
be able to effectively use topics for journalistic materials on international topics and be responsible for the information provided in the media.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the information society;
ability to work with sources of information, have the skills to prepare informational comments, analytical reviews, have the skills of public speaking on certain topics; have basic knowledge of information journalism, basic skills in working with sources of information of various types.
Course content
Introduction
Topic 1. Features of the formation and functioning of commentary on television.
Topic 2. Activities of the television information service.
Topic 3. The current state of commented journalism: trends and prospects.
Topic 4 Television production technology and the institute of commentators..
Topic 5. Foreign telemedia and the use of annotated journalism.
Topic 6. Features of preparation of TV commentary for analytical speech.
Topic 7. Preparation of comments on an international topic.
Topic 8. The work of commentators on foreign television.
Topic 9. Choice of commenting techniques on television.
Topic 10. Author's position, arguments and conclusions in the work of the commentator.

Assessment methods and criteria
1) defense of individual tasks;
2) modular tests.

Students can receive up to 20 points for practical work and writing module tasks.
In practical training, students perform practice-oriented tasks, which are assessed with a maximum of 10 points (threshold level of a positive assessment - 2 points).
The content module includes all topics. Mandatory for the test is the performance of individual work provided for in the work program of the discipline.
