Learning outcomes
PR4. Possess professional knowledge to solve tasks related to the organization and management of horticulture.
PR5. To possess at the operational level the methods of observation, description, identification, classification, cultivation of ornamental plants and plant garden and park groups, maintenance of their decorativeness, stability and stability in the conditions of the complex green zone of the city.
PR16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, form an idea about the preservation of biological diversity to increase the productivity, increase the stability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the regularities of plant adaptation to different soil and climatic conditions of the surrounding environment.
2. To be able to observe the growth and development of plants in the conditions of natural ecosystems, artificial phytocenoses, urbanized landscapes, analyze the main morphological and physiological reactions of plants depending on the conditions of the surrounding environment.
3. Possess elementary skills of field research, analysis of urban landscape processes and work in a chemical laboratory.
Course content
The educational discipline "Introduction of garden and park objects" is an educational discipline of the student's free choice, which forms a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of introduction processes related to adaptation, acclimatization, reintroduction of various types of plants, forms the ability to comprehensively evaluate the success of introduction processes caused by global climatic conditions changes and specifics of landscape design.
