Learning outcomes
The ability to excercise pne's rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine; ability to preserve and increase moral, cultural, scientific values and achievements of a society based on understanding the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society and in the development of society, techniques and technologies. Active recreation and a healthy lifestyle; ability to conduct research on economic phenomena and processes in the international sphere, taking into account causal, and spatial and temporal relationships; ability to communicate at professional and social levels using professional terminology, including oral and written communication in state and foreign languages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A student must have general knowledge of the basics of higher education in the world, individual countries and Ukraine, economic and business education as part of the future specialty; be able to analyze, evaluate and summarize the facts, trends and problems of modern higher education in Ukraine, directions of its reform, forms of participation of Ukrainian companies in international economic relations; acquire skills of analytical research and analysis of the essence, types and forms of modern world economy and international economic relations as a system, its subjects at various levels, trends and patterns of development.
Course content
Functions and structure of a classical university. Modernization of higher education in Ukraine in the context of the Bologna Process. Educational potential of Ukraine. The structure of state regulation of the higher education system in Ukraine. The main criteria and requirements for the training of specialists in international economic relations. The main principles of formation of the curriculum of the student of the department "International Economic Relations." The content and nature of the practical activities of an international economist.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge, skills: In the form of writing individual analytical works during independent study of topics. In the form of presentation of recommendations and measures for adaptation and changes in higher education in Ukraine in the Bologna system. In the form of a presentation of a study of higher education of the country selected for analysis. The final assessment (in the form of a test) is carried out in the form of defense of the study of the higher education system of the country selected for analysis.
