PR06. Ability to forecast a person's health depending on his initial level and design an appropriate program. PR08. Knowledge of the peculiarities of assessing the physical condition of persons of different ages and genders. PR14. Knowledge of the principles and stages of building a balanced diet. PR18. Ability to carry out practical studies of human body functions, to interpret the results of such studies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of academic disciplines: "Metabolism", "Hygiene with hygienic expertise", "Occupational safety in the field", "Microbiology with microbiological diagnostics", "Biological chemistry", "Analytical chemistry", "Human physiology". Ability to independently apply knowledge from academic disciplines: "Fundamentals of Nutrition", "Nutritional Hygiene", "Fundamentals of Physiology", etc. to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. Possession of basic skills in compiling a daily diet.
Course content
Within the course "Dietary consultations with the elements of diet therapy" acquaintance with the basic concepts of dietary and therapeutic nutrition of common diseases, establishing the principles of diet (diet) with therapeutic and preventive directions.
