Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the discipline the student must know: dangerous and harmful factors of the production environment; safety rules when working with electrical appliances, pressure equipment in structural units; safety rules in structural subdivisions of hospitals of different profiles; basics of fire safety; causes of fires and their prevention in health care facilities; characteristics of the environment, industrial and domestic environment; causes and classification of emergencies; ways to protect the population in emergencies; basics of organization and conduct of rescue operations in case of emergencies; organization of medical care for the population in emergency situations.

Course content
3 ECTS credits are allocated for the study of the academic discipline - 90 hours (32 classroom and 58 hours of independent student work). The program of the discipline is structured on modules, which include blocks of content modules. The amount of student workload is described in ECTS credits - credit credits, which are credited to students upon successful completion of the relevant module (credit).

Assessment methods and criteria
Current control is carried out at each practical lesson in accordance with its specific objectives. All practical classes use standardized control of theoretical training and control of practical skills: practical tasks, including competency-oriented, problem solving, test control, oral examination, written answer to the teacher's question. Students receive a grade for each practical lesson, which is comprehensive and includes control of both theoretical and practical training of the student. Independent work of students, which is provided in the topic along with classroom work, is assessed during the current control of the topic in the relevant lesson. The final control takes place at the end of the study of the block of relevant content modules by calculating the points obtained by students in performing practical and individual tasks and the results of individual tests.
