Learning outcomes
Formation of a set of knowledge aimed at developing the ability to independently create layouts and sketches of design projects for the museum and exhibition sphere, mastering the practical skills and abilities necessary for the implementation of one's own design projects during the preparation of exhibitions; orientation in modern design styles and stylistics, mastering key concepts and principles of design theory; familiarization with the necessary stages of the implementation of design projects in the museum and exhibition environment: from the creation of sketches, their development by graphic and computer means to their implementation in the material. Studying the best
museum and exhibition design projects of the world, familiarization with modern requirements for design projects in the museum and exhibition sphere.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts of design theory, areas of application of design in the field of museum exhibitions, types of graphic design.
2. To be able to create sketches and projects in various computer programs, layouts of advertising design taking into account all the basic laws of design theory; perform creative works in the form of an advertising booklet, poster, poster, trademark, logo and other types of graphic design;
3. Possess basic design and editing programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Corel Draw, etc.), skills in working with raster graphics, color channels and filters; editing and image creation tools; the main elements and components of corporate style.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, practical, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (СМ1) includes topics 1-7, content module 2 (СМ2) includes topics 8-13.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work.
The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are:
• complete disclosure of the issue
• the logic of presentation
• use of basic and additional literature
• analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
