Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Analyze and predict market phenomena and processes based on the application of fundamental principles, theoretical knowledge and applied skills
PLO 4. Collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and marketing indicators, make management decisions based on the use of the necessary analytical and methodological tools.
PLO 6. Identify the functional areas of marketing activities of the market entity and their relationships in the management system, calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the effectiveness of such activities.
PLO 7. Use digital information and communication technologies, as well as software products necessary for marketing activities and the practical application of marketing tools.
PLO 9. Assess the risks of marketing activities, establish the level of uncertainty of the marketing environment when making management decisions.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Economic Theory", "International Economics", "Business Economics", "Marketing", "Management".
1. Know: the essence of entrepreneurship, patterns of development of marketing activities, general principles of entrepreneurial activity, the content of economic indicators, methods of organization and implementation of marketing projects.
2. Be able to: identify and analyze the potential and performance indicators of marketing activities (marketing projects) in the context of the dynamics of entrepreneurship, calculate economic indicators, process data and forecast the prospects for marketing projects.
3. Have the skills: using MicrosoftOfficeWord, MicrosoftOfficeExcel, SPSS.
Course content
The discipline belongs to the cluster of specialization "Marketing Management Strategies" of free choice of students; highlights the methods of evaluating the effectiveness and tools of analysis of marketing projects in a competitive market.
The discipline consists of 2 modules:
- "Methodology of substantiation of marketing projects" - topics 1-8: Justification of projects in the system of marketing management. Project analysis. Project concept and life cycle. Methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the investment project. Content of marketing projects. Product management and pricing. Promotion management. Logistics projects. The effectiveness of management measures of the marketing project in terms of risk and uncertainty.
- "Functional aspects of the analysis of marketing projects" - topics 9-15: Tools of project analysis: standard financial and informal decision-making criteria. Marketing analysis: information sources and information technologies in project activities. The concept of costs and benefits in the justification of projects: a dynamic break-even analysis of the project. Project Analysis Tools: Project Cash Flow. Technologies of financial support of marketing projects. Technical and institutional analysis. Development of feasibility study. Environmental and social analysis. Financial and economic analysis
