Learning outcomes
Use knowledge to analyze and assess the state of the organism, disorders of its organs and systems in order to further plan diagnostic tests, treatment and prevention measures. Evaluate information about the diagnosis using a standard procedure (based on the results of laboratory and instrumental studies, etc.) and orally (in the form of reports and defense) using modern technologies, to conduct a discussion correctly. Analyze causal relationships in pathogenesis. Apply knowledge of "pathological" and "compensatory-protective" in pathogenesis, its leading and indirect links in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of disciplines "Human Anatomy", "Histology, Cytology and Embryology", "Physiology", "Microbiology, Virology and Immunology", "Biological and Bioorganic Chemistry", "Medical Biology", "Medical and Biological Physics". Ability to independently apply knowledge of human anatomy, histology, physiology, medical biology, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; skills of work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The discipline "Pathological Physiology" is part of the training cycle of specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Medicine". Pathophysiology is a mandatory discipline that studies the general patterns of functioning of the diseased human body at the level of cells, organs, systems and the body as a whole; mechanisms of resistance, the origin and course of the disease and its consequences, as well as recovery. Pathophysiology as an academic discipline forms the methodological foundations of clinical thinking; provides the opportunity to conduct pathophysiological analysis of clinical situations for further diagnosis, treatment, prevention of diseases.
