LO 2. To communicate fluently orally and in writing state and foreign languages on professional issues. LO 5. To argue ways to overcome problems and difficult life circumstances theoretically, to choose effective methods to solve them, to predict the consequences. LO 7. To use specialized software in solving professional problems. LO 10. To analyze socio-psychological processes in small and large groups. LO 13. To use methods of social diagnostics in the evaluation process of problems, needs, peculiarities and client’s resources. LO 21. To demonstrate tolerance, to show respect for cultural, religious, ethnic differences, to distinguish the influence of stereotypes and prejudices.

To know: features of the nature of social processes and phenomena that arise in the labour market, ways to ensure successful and effective social assistance in the field of employment; features of customer support in employment services; psychological and socio-pedagogical characteristics of groups of clients that need a support in employment services; manifestations of various forms of discrimination in the labor market and methods of combating this phenomenon. To be able to: organize the support of the client in the employment service; plan and conduct advisory work in employment services; establish appropriate relationships with customers, taking into account their characteristics; to hold consultations on career guidance and selection of vacancies.

The purpose of the discipline is to prepare future social workers for the organization of social work in employment services of various forms of ownership, presentation of a systematic and consistent presentation of the theoretical foundations of social work in employment services, aimed at helping to solve the problem situations of clients, prevention of social maladaptation, providing informational, psychological, legal support and providing the basic needs of the recipient of social services in the labor market; to present the features of the labor market and employment in Ukraine and the world, the problems of unemployment as a social phenomena, the organizational structure of employment institutions in Ukraine in the public and private sectors, advisory technologies on employment of different categories of clients of employment services.

Verbal answers, practical tasks, presentations, reports, project The maximum number of points per semester is 100 points. The verbal test in accordance with the submitted projects, presentations, reports. The minimum number of points for sitting the examination is 40 points. Form of final control - credit. Organization of evaluation: The maximum number of points for work during a semester is 100. The credit is granted based on the results of the student;s work during the semester. Students who scored totally less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 40 points shall pass the test. The test is estimated at a maximum of 20 points. Students who scored during the semester lower points than the critical-calculated minimum - 40 points are not allowed to take the test. The recommended minimum for admission to the test is 40 points. Rating scale: 0-59 - not credited; 60-100 - credited.
