Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: theoretical principles, normative regulation and organizational and methodological support of prevention and countermeasures in the situation of violence against children and adults. Be able to: apply regulatory and legal support in the prevention and countermeasures of violence; detect, identify and interpret signs of probable types and forms of violence against children and adults.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is for students to acquire knowledge about the practices of preventing and overcoming violence in socio-pedagogical activities, preparing them for the implementation of existing and developing new practices for preventing and overcoming violence. The discipline contains three content modules.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, assignments for the students independent work. Oral answer, analysis of primary sources, presentations, debates, practical tasks, modular control work, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answer (analysis of primary sources), creative and practical tasks - 45 points (up to 5 points for each); – 20 points; modular control work - 15 points (up to 5 points for each). Final assessment in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points per exams – 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to semester exams – 24 points. The exam is set based on the results of the students work throughout the semester.
