Learning outcomes
RS-9. Perform reflective practices in the context of social work values, responsibility, including to prevent professional burnout. RS-10. Analyze the social and individual context of the problems of the person, family, social group, community, formulate the purpose and tasks of social work, plan interventions in difficult and unpredictable circumstances in accordance with the values of social work. RS-11. Organize the joint activities of specialists from various fields and non-professionals, prepare them to perform social work tasks, initiate team formation and coordinate team work. RS-13. Demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving tasks of professional activity.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) Know: the subject, purpose, tasks, technologies of social work; features of social pedagogy. 2) Be able to: work in a group, rationally use time, clearly distribute assignments in order to obtain the maximum result; to navigate in the search systems of global computer networks, choosing terms for formulating a request and a search strategy; choose information resources according to developed or specified criteria; critically analyze the received information, highlight the most important in it; correlate and systematize acquired knowledge and practical experience in the studied discipline. 3) Possess: skills of interaction with various client groups of a social pedagogue; regulators of activity and behavior in a group of young professionals.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to consider the theoretical foundations and practice of socio-pedagogical mediation in the activities of social organizations. The discipline;Social-Pedagogical Mediation" is designed to acquaint students with the theoretical foundations and practice of mediation in social-pedagogical activities. The content is revealed in three modules. The first part deals with the theoretical aspects of mediation in social work. The foreign experience of mediation in socio-pedagogical practice is analyzed. In the second, the specifics and peculiarities of mediation in socio-pedagogical practice with different groups of clients in modern Ukrainian society are considered. The third module examines types and types of mediation in socio-pedagogical practice; practical examples of mediation with different client groups are modeled.

Assessment methods and criteria
Creative and reproductive tasks for independent work - 20 points. Preparation of reports and abstracts - 20 points. Modular test - 20 points. Exam - 40 points.
