Learning outcomes
LO6. Independently and autonomously find information necessary for professional growth, master it, assimilate and produce new knowledge, develop professional skills and qualities. LO8. Make decisions autonomously in difficult and unpredictable situations. LO9. Perform reflective practices in the context of social work values, responsibility, including to prevent professional burnout. LO11. Organize the joint activities of specialists from various fields and non-professionals, prepare them to perform social work tasks, initiate team formation and coordinate team work.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student should know: forms, types of representative services provided to clients according to their needs; The student must be able: determine strategies, components of the process of social advocacy of clients; The student must have: consultative communication skills for effective representation of clients interests.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline - acquainting students with the legal framework (Laws of Ukraine "On the approval of the State Standard of the Social Service of Representation of Interests On Social Services ;On the Basics of Social Protection of Homeless Persons and Homeless Childre, On Social Work with Families, Children and youth, On the basics of social protection of persons with disabilities in Ukraine), content, scope, conditions, order of provision of social services and a complete system of knowledge regarding the methods and techniques of organizations representing the interests of clients in social and pedagogical practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminar classes, assignments for the students independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: presentations, essays, case-study, MKR, final control work. The final control form is an test. Evaluation organization: The maximum number of points for credit is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester credits is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned for credit). Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 20 points are not allowed to pass the test. The recommended minimum for admission to the course is 36 points.
