Learning outcomes
During the course of their studies, the student achieves the following outcomes: they master the methodological principles and fundamental theoretical positions of higher education psychology as a science, understand the psychological peculiarities of the student age and the development of the teacher's personality in higher education institutions and their influence on pedagogical activities in these educational establishments. They also study the patterns of formation and development of student groups, familiarize themselves with educational technologies and types of instructional organization. The student develops skills in recognizing, preventing, and constructively resolving conflict situations in pedagogical interactions, and acquaints themselves with various psychological theories related to issues in higher education psychology.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of basic categories in general psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, educational psychology, pedagogy, ontogenetic regularities of the formation of mental properties, states, and processes, processes of personality formation and development, and social communities. Application of specific psychological theories related to issues in higher education psychology; analyzing and evaluating psychological phenomena that arise in the conditions of the educational and upbringing process in higher education institutions; creatively utilizing knowledge of psychological regularities in teaching and educating students, pedagogical interaction between teachers and students; recognizing, preventing, and constructively resolving conflicts in pedagogical interactions; understanding the patterns of development in student groups; overcoming barriers in pedagogical communication.
Course content
The discipline provides a general theoretical preparation for master's students in the field of higher education psychology, which will serve as the foundation for their future teaching activities. The program encompasses theoretical issues of development, learning, and student education, as well as matters of personality and the scientific and pedagogical activities of the teacher. Additionally, it involves practical acquisition of skills and competencies in educational work within higher education institutions by the master's students. Special attention is given to the development of professional self-determination and the acquisition of professional and pedagogical identity by the students.

Lectures, seminars, consultations, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of the depth of knowledge, level of skill development, and abilities of students is conducted through ongoing, midterm, and final forms of evaluation. Ongoing assessment takes place in each session within the learning module and serves an instructional purpose. Midterm evaluation involves checking the level of students' mastery of theoretical and practical materials covered in the modules and is conducted at the end of the planned course study within the semester. The level of practical skills is assessed during the completion of tasks included in the course content. Knowledge assessment and the distribution of points awarded to students are part of the evaluation process. The evaluation is carried out based on a modular-rating system. The content module 1 (CM 1) includes topics 1-6, while content module 2 (CM 2) covers topics 7-11. On the final session, the instructor informs the students about their rating in terms of points.
