Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know - the basic ecosystem laws, methodological approaches to the knowledge of eco- and biosystems (discipline "Fundamentals of Ecology"). Its theoretical core consists of such sciences as general ecology, hydrology, hydrochemistry, hydrobiology, human and animal physiology, plant physiology and biochemistry, chemistry. 2. Be able to - interpret the basic characteristics of water resources, navigate regulatory framework for the protection and rational use of water resources, conservation of species diversity, calculate allowable values anthropogenic impact on aquatic ecosystems. 3. Have the skills to perform basic research on hydroecosystems, mathematical calculations, calculation of the limiting indicator of harmfulness, to determine the overall negative effects of various natural and anthropogenic factors on the state of aquatic ecosystems and the quality of water resources
Course content
The teaching of this discipline is aimed at studying the concepts, terminology, principles, methods, methodological approaches to protection and rational use of water resources, the formation of skills to solve problems of water supply, protection and rational use of water resources in global climate change. In the course of studying the discipline, examples are given and the importance is demonstrated and practical application of the main laws and principles of ecology to optimize the state of aquatic ecosystems and their rational use.
