Learning outcomes
LO5. Theoretically argue ways to overcome problems and difficult life circumstances, choose effective methods to solve them, predict the consequences. LO14. Determine for yourself the circumstances in which social assistance is needed. LO24. Implement plans and tasks for the provision of social services within the socio-pedagogical activities, systematize, analyze and process information, take measures to eliminate identified shortcomings. LO27. To provide psychological support to creatively gifted pupils (students), to promote their creative definition and development.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of the course "Fundamentals of Social Governance" requires students to have knowledge of the theory of social work; 2) knowledge of the basics of professional socio-pedagogical activities for the establishment of humane, morally healthy relations in the field of social work; mastering by students of a certain system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for a social pedagogue; 3) the ability to apply various developmental techniques taking into account the psychological characteristics of the child; ability to analyze problematic situations that arise during communication with the child in the process of education and training, ability to design, plan, organize and analyze organizational forms of socio-pedagogical work.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the history of the origin and development of governorship in Ukraine, with the theoretical foundations and methods of the social governor and methods of early development and education and preparation of the child for school. Mastering this course will allow future social educators to gain knowledge, skills and abilities to develop readiness for professional socio-pedagogical activities. During the study of the discipline, the foundations of governorship as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon are revealed, emphasizing the role of governorship in the formation of the child's personality, which determines the solution of such tasks as revealing the development of governorship in institute of governorship. The content is revealed in two modules.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions): - 28/17 points 2. Analytical report: - 28/17 points 3. Creative independent work: - 24/14 points 4. Final control work: - 20/12 points. Final assessment: credit. The test is based on the results of the student's work during the semester (the maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100) and does not provide additional assessment activities for successful students. Students who scored less than 60 points during the semester, but more than the critical minimum of 36 points, are credited. The test is conducted in the form of an oral survey on the subject of the course and the performance of a creative individual task, which is estimated at 24 points. Evaluation scheme: - Credited (60-100 points) - Not credited (0-59 points)
