Learning outcomes
LO1. Search, process and analyse professionally significant knowledge from various sources using modern information and communication technologies. LO7. Search for and choose methods of clinical and psychological research in accordance with the actual tasks of psychological science and practice. LO15. LO17.Carry out an analytical search for the interdisciplinary information sources and assess them against the criterion of compliance with the formulated problem in the clinical and psychological and/or counselling and psychotherapeutic practice.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the content of the basic categories of psychodiagnostics and clinical psychology, the basic principles of a psychologist's work with patients of various nosologies and of different ages, patterns of disorders of higher mental functions, the psychological structure of psychological research in a clinic. 2. To be able to use knowledge about the specifics of the basic categories of psychodiagnostics, categories of clinical and, in particular, pathopsychology, the basic principles of the work of a clinical psychologist with patients of various nosologies, the peculiarities of psychological assistance to patients, as well as rehabilitation approaches in practical work. 3. Possess the necessary skills of interviewing and psychodiagnostic research at the level of a student who has completed studies at the educational qualification level "bachelor".
Course content
The course purpose definition of categories of psychological differential diagnosis, qualification of intellectual and emotional-volitional defect, degree of changes in personality disorders and disclosure of their place in the system of psychological knowledge and provision of psychological assistance in the clinic, forming an understanding of the requirements and mastering psychodiagnostic tools used in the work of a clinical psychodiagnostic with different categories patients for the formation of a psychological diagnosis.etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: oral answers (seminar speech, participation in discussions and debates, additions), analytical report, creative independent work, final control work. The final assessment is conducted in the form of an exam. The student's success is evaluated by calculating the semester evaluation points (maximum score - 60 points) and the exam scores (maximum score - 40 points). The maximum number of points that a student can receive in the final assessment is 100 points. The minimum threshold level of the exam grade, at which the exam is considered passed, cannot be less than 24 points. Organization of evaluation: after topic 1, modular control work 1 is conducted; after topic 3, students prepare presentations; after topic 5, modular control work 2 is conducted and a case is prepared.
