Learning outcomes
To know the factors influencing the choice of a paradigm, interconnections between paradigms and research methodology; To know main criteria and the types of scientific theories, the difference between empirical laws and scientific theories, differences between theory and model; To know basic theories in international business, commerce and finance; To be able to identify a research problem and to develop a research proposal; Communication in the modeling group game on developing the ideas through discussions of the research problem.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of research methodology in international business, commerce and finance. 2. Ability to identify and formulate a research problem, applying appropriate research approaches and methods of inquiry (both quantitative and qualitative) in international business, commerce and finance; to analyze and use information technology to find appropriate information to conduct research in international business, commerce and finance. 3. Have the basic skills of research methods in international business, commerce and finance, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of economic and statistical materials while providing own research conclusions and proposals. 4. Proficiency in English
