Learning outcomes
To understand the basic concepts and categories of the use of information systems in international business, commerce and finance; To know and understand basic technologies, technical, economic and legal foundations of functioning of information systems in IBCF; To know and understand features of business models and business organization forms using information systems and the Internet; To be able to use knowledge and techniques acquired during the course for further learner’s development as well as for practical use in IBCF; To master the skills of conducting in group discussions on selected theoretical and practical issues of the use of information systems in IBCF; To solve collective tasks relating to the use of information systems in IBCF under the supervision and direction of the lecturer.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of the Economic Theory, International Business, Commerce and Finance. 2. Ability to understand the basic principles of the use of information systems in international business, commerce and finance. 3. Have the basic skills of economic data collection and processing, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of theoretical and empirical data while providing one’s own conclusions and proposals. 4.Proficiency in English.
Course content
Module 1. Basics of Using Information Systems in IBCF. 1. The Essence, Basic Concepts and Principles of Use of Information Systems in IBCF. 2. Information Systems in the Corporate Sector (Business-to-Business, B2B). 3. Information Systems in the Consumer Sector (B2C). 4. Information Systems in the Sector of Individuals Interaction (C2C). 5. Information Systems in the Sector of Interaction of Individuals and Legal Entities with the State (G2C, C2G, B2G, G2B). 6. Electronic Payment Systems and Technology of Risk Reductionin Payment Systems on the Internet. Module 2. Practical Aspects of Use of Information Systems in IBCF. 7. Internet banking and Electronic Money. 8. Internet Marketing. 9. Online Advertising. 10. Social Media Marketing (SMM). 11. Fraud in Using Information Systems in IBCF and Combating It. 12. Prospects for Information Systems Development in ICBF.
