Learning outcomes
Know: basic theories of economic competition; forms and types of international economic competition, their features; criteria and indicators of competitiveness of the national economy in world markets; criteria and indicators of competitiveness of the industry, company, product in world markets; main characteristics of competitive strategies of firms in international markets. Be able to: analyze the competitive advantages of national economies of individual countries and firms in world markets; to analyze the main competitive forces in certain international commodity markets; calculate integrated indicators of international competitiveness of goods; to develop a competitive strategy of an individual firm in international commodity markets; analyze current national and international antitrust law; to apply in practice the acquired knowledge to provide expert advice to the state authorities of Ukraine in the field of regulation of international economic competition.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of the basics of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Economic Relations (Fundamental Theory). 2. Ability to study, evaluate, analyze and summarize the main indicators of the enterprise, the effectiveness of its management system, completeness of the tasks. 3. Have the basic skills of economic analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of material while providing one’s own conclusions and proposals. 4. Proficiency in English

Introduction. Theme 1. Framework of economic competition on world markets. Competitiveness of goods and companies on international markets. Theme 2. Competitiveness of countries in global economy. Competitive policies of the leading countries. Module control works
