Learning outcomes
Know the current model of the world economy, the nature, and main trends of the international capital movement; the main directions and formation of the international world economy. Be able to analyze the main trends of the world economy; determine the main trends of world trade development, its geographical and commodity structure. Master the skills of convincing protection of their point of view regarding the current state and prospects of economic development of different groups of countries in the world. Tackle teamwork, case studies, group discussions related to the global economy and globalization of the global economy. Autonomy in the preparation of analytical notes and recommendations on specific topical theoretical and practical issues regarding the study of the peculiarities of the development of internationalization and globalization of the world economy; analysis of the current state and prospects of economic development of different groups of countries.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Knowledge of the basics of Macroeconomics, Microeconomics. - Ability to analyze the basic aspects of the functioning of the main components of the world economy, the specifics of the functioning of major groups of countries in the world economy. - Have the basic skills of analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, working out of a considerable amount of statistical material while providing one’s conclusions and proposals. - Proficiency in English.

1. Surveys at seminars, tasks for individual work, consideration of hypothetical interstate disputes, analysis of the dispute in the case-study format, judging speech contest – up to 30 points. 2. Modular control work – up to 30 points. 3. Examination ¬– 40 points.
