PRN: 12. Know, understand and demonstrate the ability to implement
theoretical and methodical principles of teaching geography for implementation
educational program in a basic/professional secondary school.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of natural science, socio-economic geography courses, and
disciplines "Pedagogy", "Psychology", "Methodology of teaching geography", "Diagnostics
of geographical knowledge", knowledge of the theoretical foundations of geography teaching methods, content and
structures of school geographical education
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of basic geographical and pedagogical theories and concepts,
of school geographical education, creative methodical thinking, methodical formation skills
geographic competence in students, innovative organization of educational space, own
pedagogical activity regarding the performance of the functions of a teacher, capable
Course content
"Innovations in school geographic education" is a discipline,
which reveals innovative theoretical and methodical approaches in designing the educational process
aspects of innovative pedagogical trends, effective practices of their application in education
geography Attention is paid to the formation of the content of school geography courses in innovative
didactic system. Separate innovative perspective methods and methodical ones are considered
techniques, means and forms in modern learning technologies, including the formation of key ones
and subject competencies.
The evaluation-resultative component is considered from the standpoint of formative training, diagnostics,
monitoring of knowledge, skills and abilities.
