Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the course "Economic Theory". Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the courses "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Economic History" and "Modern Economic Systems".
Course content
Macroeconomics as science makes it possible to understand how national economies, interacting with each other and with the world economic system as a whole, shape the economic behavior of national economic entities, the culture of economic thinking, determine the coordination of the legal field. The discipline "Macroeconomics" consists of the following sections: Section 1: "Theoretical foundations of the study of macroeconomic processes" which studies the foundations of macroeconomic theory, macroeconomic phenomena, and processes; Section 2: "Macroeconomic instability and macroeconomic policy", which discusses the main factors and causes of macroeconomic imbalances, measures to restore it, as well as types and instruments of macroeconomic policy.

Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, abstracting English-language articles, preparation of presentations
Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment: 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum 1. Participation in seminars (individual presentations, additions and discussions of a theoretical nature, problem solving and solving practical problems) during the substantive section 1 - Max. 10 points / Min. 6 points. 2. Test work on the content section 1– Max. 10 points / Min. 6 points. 3. Participation in seminars (individual presentations, additions and discussions of a theoretical nature, problem solving and solving practical problems) during the substantive section 2 - Max. 10 points / Min. 6 points. 4. Test work on the substantive section 2 - Max.10 points / Min. 6 points. 5. Independent work (essay writing, preparation of analytical works, abstracting English-language articles, their presentation) - Max.20 points / Min. 12 points. - final assessment in the form of an exam: maximum score of 40 points, boundary grade - 24 points.
