Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students must possess French academic terminology, business etiquette, and lexical and grammatical norms. It is necessary to know the methodology of translation, be able to apply transformations, and work with scientific sources for high-quality reproduction of texts of various genres. It is also important to understand the techniques of translating political discourse and the principles of embodying the speaker's communicative intention.
Course content
The exam is comprehensive, it includes material from linguistics and translation disciplines. Linguistics and translation disciplines: Business speech and translation, Communicative strategies and translation, French-language academic discourse.
