Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Be confident in the state and foreign languages to implement written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages. PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the academic discipline: successful mastery of the disciplines of professional and practical training, in particular "Practical Course of a Second Language", "Practice of Translation from a Second Language".
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize students with the basic laws of the functioning of communicative strategies on the material of the French language, the main models and tactics of building an adequate communicative situation taking into account linguistic, speech and linguocultural competence.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester score is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire academic course. The assessment is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of control described in clause 7.1. The overall score for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes independent work to prepare for classroom work: oral answers, lexical dictations, tests) and for independent work (written tasks, preparation for oral answers, lexical dictations, modular control works). All types of work for the 1st and 2nd semesters have a total of: - in the maximum dimension - 100 points, - in the minimum dimension - 60 points.
The final assessment is carried out in the form of a test.
