Prerequisites and co-requisites
The requirements for students cover three areas: Academic: mastery of Hindi terminology, business etiquette, and scientific style. Political: analysis of manipulative techniques and translation of ideological discourse. Literary: knowledge of contemporary Indian prose, mastery of literary translation taking into account cultural differences, and editing skills. The goal is to train a specialist capable of high-quality intercultural communication.
Course content
The content of the Program consists of the subject matter, theoretical questions of the programs of academic disciplines included in the ONP "Eastern Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Hindi Language and Literature". The exam is comprehensive, it includes material from linguistic, literary and translation disciplines, as well as methods of teaching Hindi in higher education. Linguistic and literary disciplines: Hindi for professional communication, Modern political Hindi discourse; Hindi academic discourse; Modern literary process in India. Translation disciplines: Theory and methodology of Hindi; Methodology of literary translation (Hindi); Translation of scientific texts (Hindi).
