Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PLO 3. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information, for the successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of scientific research in a specific philological field. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 16. Use specialized conceptual knowledge from the field of Hindi philology to solve complex tasks and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the professional disciplines "Introduction to Special Philology", "Theory and Practice of Translation", "Stylistics of Language", "Linguistic and Stylistic Features of Business Communication";
Knowledge of the features of phonetics, vocabulary and grammar of the modern Hindi language, obtained from a practical course of the Hindi language.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to teach students to adequately translate Hindi-language texts of a scientific nature; to translate fixed phrases and language clichés from relevant texts; to perform oral translation in both directions; to improve active vocabulary from relevant vocabulary.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and practical classes. Research tasks and preparation of abstracts. Presentations and oral speeches. Oral and written translation of scientific texts. Independent work with terminology and language clichés.
Assessment methods and criteria
Methods: oral answers, essays, presentations, research and test tasks, modular tests and credit.
Criteria: completeness of the answer, level of argumentation, use of literature and activity in discussions.
Distribution: up to 60 points during the semester and 40 points for the final test.
