Learning outcomes
PLO 11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations on the basis of independently processed data. PLO 15. Choose optimal research approaches and methods for the analysis of specific linguistic or literary material. PRN 16. Use specialized conceptual knowledge in the field of Arabic/Hindi/Persian philology to solve complex tasks and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements. PLO 17. Plan, organize, carry out and present research and/or innovative developments in the field of Arabic/Hindi/Persian philology PLO 18. Present the results of their research to the scientific community in scientific publications or speeches at conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before the start of the scientific research practice, master's students must be able to:
- work with educational and scientific literature in the field of Oriental studies in Ukrainian and foreign languages, process it, make generalizations and conclusions;
- annotate and summarize information materials in Ukrainian, Western European, and Oriental languages;
- possess the skills of scientific research in the field of Arabic / Hindi / Persian philology.
- possess a computer set of texts in Oriental languages.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form and develop professional skills in scientific research work in the conditions of an academic institution; to gain real experience in research activities in oriental studies centers of Ukraine. Scientific research practice is designed to develop in students the ability to independently make specific decisions, systematically update and improve the acquired knowledge and creatively implement it in their research activities; to work in real production conditions, to master modern methods, forms of organization and means of work.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The following activities and methods are planned: Activities: lectures, practical classes, independent work and individual consultations. Methods: explanatory and illustrative, problem-based presentation, discussions, case studies and interactive forms of learning (trainings, group work). They are aimed at combining the theoretical base with the development of analytical and applied skills.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment of the results of the internship (min. 60 / max. 100 points) is carried out by adding up the points received by students for the three stages of its completion:
• preparatory stage – min. 6 / max. 10 points;
• main stage – min. 42 / max. 70 points (including a practice diary (according to the individual plan) – 6/10 points, a scientific project – 24/40 points, summarizing and annotating literature – 6/10 points, presentation – 6/10 points);
• final stage – min. 12 / max. 20 points (including preparation of reporting materials – 6/10 points, presentation – 6/10 points).
