LO1. Communicate fluently on professional matters with specialists and non-specialists in the national language, Turkish, and English, both orally and in writing, and use these skills to facilitate effective intercultural communication. LO5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, and people with different political views, etc. LO10. Know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. LO11. Know the principles, techniques, and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the national language, Turkish, and English. LO17. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: 1) modern philological and pedagogical principles of foreign language teaching; 2) modern philological principles of foreign language teaching, the main functions and laws governing the development of language as a social phenomenon, and the multi-level (systemic) organization of a foreign language and its norms. Be able to: 1) work with theoretical and scientific-methodological sources (including digital ones), find, process, systematize, and apply modern scientific information and computer technologies in educational activities; 2) compare linguistic and literary facts and phenomena, and identify their similarities and differences. Possess: 1) communicative language competence in a foreign language (linguistic, sociocultural, and pragmatic components in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Course content
The primary purpose of the «Comprehensive Final Exam» is to assess the learning outcomes that students are expected to achieve while studying English language courses. The final exam aims to evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired by graduates during their bachelor’s program in specific areas of study. The exam content consists of topics and theoretical questions from the curricula of the courses included in the educational and professional program «Crimean Tatar Language and Literature, English Language, and Translation». This educational and professional program is based on courses related to the multi-semester course “English Language.” The exam is both written and oral and is conducted in English; it involves written tasks followed by an oral response. The written portion of the exam lasts 45 minutes. The total time allotted for interviewing one student is 30 minutes.

Assessment methods and criteria
Structure of the final exam: 1. Linguistic-stylistic and interpretive analysis of the text: 10 - 20 points. 2. Linguistic analysis of text excerpts: 25 - 40 points. 3. Oral discussion topic: 25 - 40 points. The total score a graduate can earn is calculated based on the sum of points for the three questions on the exam: the maximum score is 100, and the minimum passing score is 60, in accordance with the grading scale.
