Course content
The course “Interpreting and Translation (Crimean Tatar Language)” is one of the components of the comprehensive training program for the “035 Philology” major—specifically, the educational program “Crimean Tatar Philology, English Language, and Translation.” Students develop professional skills and competencies in translating from the Crimean Tatar language into Ukrainian (and vice versa) based on previously acquired theoretical knowledge, while also cultivating the need to systematically expand their knowledge and creatively apply it in practical activities within their future profession. The main focus is on the specifics of written translation of texts in journalistic, literary, and popular science styles, as well as consecutive interpretation of radio and television broadcasts.
The course curriculum consists of 4 content modules. Classes are conducted in the form of practical sessions. In the first semester, the course concludes with a credit.
