Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before beginning this course, students should be familiar with the main characteristics of the Turkic languages and have a grasp of basic philological concepts.
Course content
The course “Second Turkic Language: Practical Course” develops students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the Crimean Tatar language. It involves the practical application of the theory that students are expected to master while taking the course “General Theoretical Course in the Second Turkic Language.”
The course “Second Turkic Language: Practical Course” is an elective component of the educational and research program “Eastern Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Turkish Language and Literature”; level of higher education: second (3rd semester; total of 270 hours, including 90 hours of practical classes and 180 hours of independent study).
The course syllabus consists of 2 content modules. Instruction is conducted in the form of practical classes. The course concludes with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Work in seminars: 10 - 15 points.
2. Supplements: 2 - 5 points.
3. Module tests #1 and #2: 6 - 10 points.
4. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
