LO1. Evaluate one’s own academic and professional activities; develop and implement an effective strategy for self-development and professional growth. LO13. Explain the essence of specific philological issues and one’s own viewpoint on them, along with its rationale, in an accessible and well-reasoned manner to both specialists and the general public, particularly students. LO21. Conduct objective assessment of learning outcomes (evaluation) and provide recommendations for improving learning outcomes in Turkish and English. LO22. Apply modern pedagogical methods and technologies in organizing the educational process and methodological work in higher education. LO23. Apply specialized psychological knowledge in organizing key activities at a higher education institution and use psychological methods to optimize the educational process.

Full-time form

Know: approaches, principles, methods of teaching, forms of organization of education in the school; methodological principles of formation of knowledge, skills and abilities; psychological principles of teaching students of higher education institutions. Be able to: develop outline plans and conduct lectures, practical and seminar classes in higher education; adhere to the approaches and principles of teaching in higher education, select and use the best methods and techniques for teaching in higher education. Students must have a C1-C2 level of English.

The purpose of the discipline is to form theoretical knowledge of higher education students in literary studies as a special branch of philology, to study the influence of modern trends on Turkic literature, to study European literary trends and Turkic literary achievements within them. The discipline is theoretical and practical in nature and contributes to the practical formation of future philologists' experience in analyzing texts necessary for their future professional activities. The content of this discipline, firstly, provides future specialists with knowledge of modern literary trends, secondly, encourages higher education students to rethink the place of Turkic literature in the world, and thirdly, makes it possible to expand the field of activity of future philologists by applying the acquired knowledge and skills. The program of the discipline consists of 2 content modules. Classes are held in the form of lectures and practical classes. The course ends with a test.

Practical classes, independent work.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes (oral response, work with text corpora, presentations, essays, reports): 10 - 30 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 4 - 6 points. 3. Module tests #1 and #2: 8 - 10 points. 4. Test: 14 - 20 points.
