Learning outcomes
LO29.2 Perform written translation to ensure translation from Crimean Tatar into Ukrainian and vice versa in various fields of natural sciences.
LO30.2 Perform oral and written translation to ensure translation from Crimean Tatar into Ukrainian and vice versa during conferences of various professional orientations.
LO31.2 Analyze and apply the linguistic means necessary to ensure the translation of texts of various genres into the Crimean Tatar language.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know:
1) successful mastery of professional disciplines during the first year of master's studies;
2) knowledge of syntactic transformations when translating into/from Crimean Tatar language(s).
Be able to:
1) use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies;
2) apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Have basic skills:
1) сognitive and professional activities;
2) culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
This course develops advanced translation skills in students, such as the simultaneous rendering of spoken lines, speeches, and the like. Preserving the content, style, and tone of the original message in oral (simultaneous/consecutive) interpretation. Achieving equivalence in translation through lexical, grammatical, and syntactic transformations. The course focuses on practical conference interpretation skills. The program covers the study of technical equipment, principles of teamwork, and the specifics of providing support for international events. Through a system of specialized exercises, students improve their working memory and translation speed.
The course «Conference Interpretation (crimean tatar language)» is the third course in the second elective block «Translation Studies» of the educational and research program for training specialists at the «Master’s» degree level, field of knowledge 03 «Humanities», in the specialization 035 «Philology», major «Crimean Tatar Language and Literature».
The course curriculum consists of two content modules. Classes are conducted in the form of practical sessions. The course concludes with a final exam in the fourth semester.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 30% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical
training, which accounts for 70% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
Part 1: Module 1:
1. Work in practical classes (oral answer): 6 - 9 points.
2. Oral commentary and analysis of simultaneous interpretation of a conference report: 12 - 20 points.
3. Module test: 10 - 20 points.
Part 2: Module 2:
1. Work in practical classes (oral answer): 10 - 15 points.
2. Consecutive translation of a report on a philological topic: 12 - 16 points.
