LO1. Evaluate one’s own academic and professional activities, and develop and implement an effective strategy for self-development and professional growth. LO4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally, and professionally significant problems and propose solutions to them in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting. LO6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, and logical language tools and speech techniques to achieve a planned pragmatic outcome and facilitate successful communication. LO15. Select optimal research approaches and methods for analyzing specific linguistic or literary material.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: - Turkish grammatical structures and vocabulary according to A2 level; - syntactic rules for constructing phrases and simple (common and uncommon) sentences according to A2 level. Be able to: - read in Turkish and understand the content of the text/dialogue within the framework of the lexical and grammatical material studied reproduce the readings - carry on a conversation on a given topic within the framework of the vocabulary covered; - Listen to and understand Turkish text/dialogues up to A2 level.
Course content
Students refine the core language skills in Turkish: reading, speaking, writing, and listening. Students develop communicative language competencies: the ability to perceive and comprehend spoken discourse, the ability to communicate on topics specified in the curriculum, text comprehension, and the ability to paraphrase what they have read. Writing and reading skills are developed to meet the requirements of an intermediate level of proficiency in a second foreign language. The course “Turkish Language: Practical Course” constitutes the professional foundation of comprehensive training in the field of knowledge 03 “Humanities” for the major 035.02 “Philology” with a specialization in “Crimean Tatar Language and Literature.” Classes are conducted in the form of practical sessions. The course concludes in the first semester with a midterm assessment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes: 20 - 40 points. 2. Home reading: 10 - 20 points. 3. Modular control work: 15 - 20 points.
