Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 8. Evaluate historical achievements and the latest achievements of literary studies. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of different styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastery of the professional disciplines "Persian Language: Advanced Level", "Medieval Persian Literature", "Persian Classical Poetics: Genres and Styles", "Iranian Literature of the 20th Century", provided for in the educational program of the Bachelor's degree program, and "Modern Literary Process in Iran" of the Master's degree program.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to acquaint students with the methodological and stylistic guidelines of European and Ukrainian translation schools in the field of artistic translation from the Persian language into Ukrainian.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study work of students, which involves preparation for oral responses, participation in discussions during classes and seminars, fulfillment of written tasks, tests, research works and presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester score is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on the processing of theoretical material in preparation for the classroom: oral answers, supplements, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (preparation of a presentation, essay). In case of absence from a seminar class, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar.
