Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Prior to studying this course, students should know the main components of modern political systems (political institutions, political processes, political culture), the laws of their functioning and development; the main methods, categories, concepts and concepts used in the study of politics.
2. Based on knowledge of the political system, patterns of its functioning and development, be able to navigate the party and political life of specific countries, including Ukraine.
3. Possess basic skills of scientific research, search and processing of necessary information, including in foreign language sources, critical attitude to the course of specific events.
Course content
International negotiations: concepts, concepts, classification and functions.
Features of the organization and stages of international negotiations.
Preparation for international negotiations: choice of strategy and tactics.
Completion of international negotiations: decision-making and preparation of final documents.
Mediation in negotiations.
Culture of communication and ethics of negotiation. Styles of negotiation.
Psychology of communication in international negotiations.
Ethics of international negotiations.
Conceptual provisions of the theory of argumentation, rhetoric, business ethics and etiquette.
Personal style of negotiation.
Socio-cultural traditions and features of national styles of international negotiations

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.5), which is 40% of the total grade and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication - 3.1-3.2); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade.
