Full-time form

1) Successful mastery of the complex disciplines of the complex discipline ‘Modern Greek Literature’, discipline “Intercultural Communication and Translation (Modern Greek)”; 2) Knowledge of the basic theoretical principles of literature 2) knowledge of the basic theoretical foundations of literary studies, linguistics and translation studies; basic knowledge of translation studies; basic information from the courses of linguistic and country studies of Greece and Cyprus; 3) basic skills of linguistic stylistic, linguistic pragmatic, linguistic, linguistic-pragmatic, linguistic-textual and literary analysis in Greek at B2-C1 level.

The aim of the discipline is to deepen students' theoretical understanding of the principles of translation theatrical text on the basis of linguistic and poetic analysis of texts of the Modern Greek tradition, which belong to different dramatic systems, use different techniques and codes; to teach scientifically grounded search for translation options, dialogical interaction with the Ukrainian poetic tradition and the principles of Ukrainian translation schools. Annotation of the course of the discipline - The subject of the discipline is the study of the theoretical foundations of of a separate branch of literary translation - poetic translation, namely: modern linguistic cognitive, linguistic and pragmatic approaches to the phenomenon of a theatrical work as a specific dual form of language organisation (written and oral), as well as practical application of the acquired language competences for translation tasks. У modules, students get acquainted with the most representative areas of the Modern Greek theatre tradition and master their translation.

Teaching methods: lectures, independent work, practical classes. Learning activities: oral answers, additions, participation in discussions, translation analysis, creative task (translation), final final examination in the form of tests.

Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer: LR 1.1-1.3; LR 2.1-2.3; LR 3.1-3.2; LR 4.2 - 24/40 points. 2. Additions, participation in the discussion: L1.1-1.3; L2.1-2.3; L3.1-3.2; L4.2 8/16 points. 3. Analysis of the translation: SLOs 2.1-2.3; SLOs 4.1-4.2 - 8/12 marks. 4. Creative task (translation): EL 2.1-2.3; EL 3.2; EL 4.1-4.2 - 8/12 marks. 5. Final control work in the form of tests. in the form of tests: PH 1.1-1.3; PH 2.1-2.3; PH 4.1-4.2 - 12/20 points. The total grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral answers, additions and participation in discussions at lectures and and seminars, translation analysis), independent creative work (translation) and the final test. and the final test. The course ends with a test. The total number of points in the course (60/100 points) is determined as the sum of points for the work during the semester.
