Learning outcomes
PRN 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting PRN 8. Evaluate historical heritage and the latest achievements of literary studies. PRN 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PRN 11. Carry out a scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PRN 14. Create, analyze and edit texts of various styles and genres.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the professional disciplines "Persian language: advanced level", "Medieval Persian literature", "Persian classical poetics: genres and styles", "Literature of Iran of the 20th century", provided in the educational program of the bachelor's degree program, and "Modern literary process in Iran » OP master. Mastering the skills of literary analysis of artistic prose and poetic authentic texts in the Persian language.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to acquaint students with the methodological and stylistic guidelines of European and Ukrainian translation schools in the field of artistic translation from the Persian language into Ukrainian.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study work of students, which involves preparation for oral responses, participation in discussions during classes and seminars, fulfillment of written tasks, tests, research works and presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semestral assessment is based on the oral testing, written assignments, reports and presentations – 36/60 points, modular test papers – 12/20 points, final test paper – 12/20 points. The credit is given based on the results of the student’s work throughout the entire semester and does not require additional assessment measures. Students who scored 60 points, the required minimum, receive “passed”. Students who failed to score 60 points, the required minimum, receive “failed”. Those students who scored totally less than 60 points during the semester period should complete a test paper in the items which he/she failed to pass. Final score 60-100 – passed; 0-59 – failed.
