Learning outcomes
PRN 5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PRN 9. Characterize the dialectal and social varieties of the Persian language, describe the sociolinguistic situation. PRN 14. To use the Persian and English languages in oral and written form, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PRN 21. Apply knowledge of the linguistic and regional studies of Iran, the history of Ukraine's relations with the countries of the East. PRN 22. Have basic knowledge of the Arabic language.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the courses "Persian language: intermediate level", "Introduction to Persian philology", "Lexicology of the Persian language". Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of linguistics from the courses "Fundamentals of Linguistics: Synchrony", "Fundamentals of Linguistics: Diachrony".
Course content
The goal of the academic discipline is to form students a holistic view of the religious aspect of Persian-language communication; highlight the historical-sociological context of its formation, structural-semantic features and the specifics of the functioning of the relevant means of speech in Persian-language communication, depending on the style and genre of communication.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Control of students' mastery of the material consists of points obtained for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation).
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation). The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester, including the preparation of the course project, and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60 - receive - "enrolled". Students who did not score the minimum positive number of points - 60 - receive - "not counted".
